Hey you!!

I'm just dropping a quick line tonight to inform you that you are a beautiful,  amazing person. The world would be worse off,  were you not here.

Thank you for being present and bringing your light to those around you.  Thank you for your heart and your magic.

And most of all, it's never too late and you're never too old for dreaming.

Merry everything and happy always!

Perseverance

Some days my hand starts to shake
with the desire to be doing something
important.

With the desire to be someone more.
My head starts to expand and explode and
ache with the strength.

My heart feels like it bleeds,
pouring liquid life freely in my body
until I'm swollen and too tired to move.

Today, my hands mindlessly clenched to fists and my nails drew blood.
Today, my head swirls with stories, pictures, and adventures I'll never have.
Today, my heart feels absent, nothing more than an aching hole of missing parts.

Most days I have to climb out alone.
Today is no different.

So if you see a person struggling, reach down a hand into the pit
or simply a smile.
You'd be surprised how far a little bit goes.

A study on anger

Why do we get mad?

I believe it is internal.  A feeling of being stuck,  or jealousy.  Perhaps seeing a reflection in others of the thing we hate most about ourselves, and treating others with the same guidelines as we treat ourselves.

What we must remember is--we deserve as much patience as we give others.  We are worth the time and effort.  We are worth being happy.

Steps on the path of enlightenment

I believe that perfection is impossible,  and that trying is perfect.

I think that life has ups and downs and means nothing and everything.  If we misuse our world and ourselves,  we mean nothing.  We will fade out of existence like everything else has.

On the other hand,  if we fight to protect the good,  to preserve the magic, to be present for our lonely brethren, we will make lasting changes for global betterment. And not just environmental,  but as a massive family of human beings in which it is a tragedy for someone to be left out.

Tell someone they matter. Talk to the outcasts. You haven't any idea what stories they'll tell until you ask.
